Christian has over nine years of experience in the Colorado legal cannabis industry and over 20 years of experience as an entrepreneur. He founded Green Man Cannabis in Denver, Colo. in 2009 and has been active in the industry across multiple states. Green Man is well-known for its connoisseur grade craft cannabis and many High Times Cannabis Cup wins – which is the industry’s most prestigious award for product excellence. In 2015, High Times Magazine recognized Hageseth with an industry Trailblazer Award. His experience in the legal cannabis industry and his predictions for its future are outlined in his book Big Weed, published by Macmillan in 2015.
Mike has over 18 years of experience in the wonderful world of franchising, helping to grow nationally recognized brands. Recently, he spent the last eight years at Maui Wowi Hawaiian Coffees & Smoothies, a global franchise with over 450 units worldwide. Initially coming aboard as General Counsel, he quickly established himself as a leader within the company and was appointed to CEO in 2013. In 2015, he led the successful sale of the company to Kahala Brands, subsidiary of MTY Food Group, a global leader in the QSR industry with a portfolio of 77 quick-service restaurant brands and approximately 5,500 locations in 34 countries. Upon acquisition, he remained committed to growing Maui Wowi as Brand President. He was also VP of Franchise Development, overseeing Kahala’s nontraditional portfolio and growth strategies. Mike is also the founder and principal of Becheart Consulting, which specializes in aiding emerging franchise concepts. Mike graduated from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2004.
