Rae

Within a year since launching the company in 2019, the CEO catalyzed sustained success, introduced 20 individual products right out of the gate, and orchestrated distribution in every Target location. Speaking as a woman directly to women, she emphasized the consumer’s needs, first and foremost. The North Dakota native admittedly grew up in “a very humble and holistic household.” Mom worked as a nurse, and dad possessed a deep passion for Eastern medicine. At a young age, Angie learned how to meditate and developed her curiosity for wellness – and how all things can be addressed through a combination of cultures – both east and west. Kicking off her career, she spent a year at Microsoft in Seattle as a Marketing Manager before joining the team at Target in 2005. She spent the next decade-plus at the company. Working out of the Minneapolis headquarters and Toronto, her experience encompassed director positions throughout categories across both Apparel and Home. She spent her final year at the corporation as Senior Director and Chief of Staff, Merchandising.
