Sweet Leaf Madison Capital With Kevin Bush

Sweet Leaf

Sweet Leaf Madison Capital is unique in that they are not just a finance company. The founders have owned and operated businesses in cannabis. They understand your challenges, such as price fluctuations, crop exposure, unsavory characters, banking, and everything else in between.

These experiences have taught them to be nimble, creative, and—most of all—look for other high-integrity people who are passionate about the plant. Kevin spent his 20-year career in both corporate finance and fund management roles.

Previously, he served as Chief Financial Officer at Bloom Medicinals, one of the largest, privately owned multi-state cannabis operators in the US. While there, he played an instrumental role in the company’s growth by working closely with management and institutional investors to develop capital allocation strategies.

In addition, he provided timely and accurate financial analysis and forecasts of Bloom Medicinals’ financial trends. As an award-winning fund manager, Kevin has developed and managed numerous high-value added investment strategies throughout his career, including traditional separately managed account strategies and collective funds, both 40-Act NASDAQ listed and private partnerships.

Kevin has been a featured speaker, presenting global investment strategy to investment professionals across the United States, as well as, to numerous banks, trading desks, and family offices throughout the Middle East and China. Kevin has a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Amherst College. Additionally, he is a Chartered Financial Analyst charter holder (CFA).
