Bill Maher Smokes A Joint Live On The Air

Last night, Feb. 12, 2016, Bill Maher smokes a joint live on the air during his show Real Time with Bill Maher on HBO.

As part of his New Rules segment, Maher gave a very detailed accounting of the pro marijuana argument and smokes a joint near the end to reinforce his support. He also passes the joint of camera to one of his guests and a large cloud of smoke is then seen in frame.

The fact that Bill Maher smokes a joint in itself is not surprising, as he is a major supporter of ending marijuana prohibition. But last year when one of his guests lit a joint his reaction was one of concern. Obviously he ran this by the lawyers first.
