Marijuana Opportunity Today with Adam Goers, VP of Corporate Affairs at Columbia Care. We talk about his interactions with policymakers and their understanding of the cannabis industry. The U.S. House of Representatives is planning a floor vote in September on the Marijuana Opportunity, Reinvestment, and Expungement (MORE) Act that would federally decriminalize cannabis by removing it from the Controlled Substances Act. The new legislation would also require federal courts to expunge prior cannabis-related convictions and establish funds for small businesses in the marijuana industry to flourish.
