Newly emerging adult use cannabis marketplace. This week, we are speaking with Tim Keogh, CEO, AmeriCann. He is being described as a “forward-thinking entrepreneur in this new cannabis landscape”. Their “new generation of environmentally sustainable, state-of-the-art cannabis cultivation and processing with his publicly-traded agricultural technology company that started in Colorado is now expanding into Massachusetts. AmeriCann has started construction on the Massachusetts Medical Cannabis Center (MMCC) on a 52-acre parcel located 30 miles from Providence, R.I., and 50 miles from Boston. They are building nearly a million sq. ft. of cannabis cultivation and processing infrastructure, which will be developed in phases, and plans to support both the existing medical cannabis and the newly emerging adult use cannabis marketplace.
