David Goodman is an accomplished, self-taught American photographer and storyteller. His passion for photography has been a lifelong pursuit, beginning at the age of 8 with his first camera. By the age of 11, he was developing film in his parent's basement, and by 24, he had opened his first photography studio in New York City. Goodman's photographs have appeared in numerous prestigious publications throughout his career, including The New York Times , Vogue , The Advocate , Huffington Post, and High Times Magazine . In his groundbreaking book, An American Cannabis Story, Goodman takes readers on a fascinating journey through the previously unseen world of legalized cannabis farming and product development. Through his lens and through his words, Goodman provides unprecedented access to this intriguing industry, focusing on Puffin Farm, a mom-and-pop cannabis producer—offering an intimate look at the people and places behind it, as well as eye-popping photographs of sweeping vistas of the farm as well as breathtaking close-ups of the exotically colorful cannabis cultivars grown by this regenerative farm in Washington state, which is also the home of Hempresent.
