Today on Hempresent were joined by James Eichner, co-founder, and CSO of Sana Packaging. James earned a BA in English from Colorado College and an MBA in Sustainability, Entrepreneurship, and Finance from the University of Colorado Boulder. James has worked with startups in the publishing industry and the music industry. He has also worked with nonprofits and consulted for startups in the social and environmental justice sectors. At Sana Packaging, they design and develop hemp plastic packaging solutions for the cannabis industry. The hemp plastic Sana uses are 100% plant-based and chemical free and their products are ASTM child-resistant certified. We talk about their commitment to sustainability that goes beyond simply offering ecologically conscious products. And how they envision a world where our bodies, natural environment, and oceans are not polluted with toxic waste.
